The 2nd International Summer School 2018 “Sustainable Mobility – Made in Leipzig” focuses on presentations and discussions about different topics of sustainable mobility and urban development. The inputs will be presented by experts of the universities in Dresden, Trier and Vienna and international speakers from the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP), C40 Finance Facility (CFF) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Additionally, urban practitioners from Durban (South Africa), Santiago de Chile (Chile), Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg (Russia) and Lviv (Ukraine) will present their personal experiences in the field of sustainable mobility.
The summer school is a joint effort of the Technical University of Dresden, the City of Leipzig and the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI).
